Power – pay for what you use
Power is a significant focus for data center customers.
Most have seen power requirements quadruple in the last
three years as dense server deployments now dominate the
enterprise.
To cater to this growing concern, 365 Main has negotiated
discounted power rates with local providers in each region
and has also introduced a unique billing system in which
it only charges customers for the exact amount of power
that is used. Most companies charge a flat rate per month
in a ‘use it or lose it’ structure, which usually
means that the customer loses.
The 365 Main billing system provides real-time, pro-active
power management capabilities and monitors the hot-leg of
every circuit in the colocation room. The system can record
and report monthly power usage based on the monitored amperage
of each circuit leg. The system can also be programmed to
automatically send email notification if any of these legs
exceeds a required threshold to ensure your staff is not
overloading circuits.
Remote Hands
Customers of 365 Main receive the added benefit of our Remote Hands staff as their first line, immediate response team. When you have an issue or need a simple task completed, our staff becomes your staff. For larger projects, service technicians offer an inexpensive alternative to customer staff and can assist with activities such as customer move-in, server refresh or IT architecture redesign. Technicians are available 24 hours a day and can work independently on behalf of customers or in conjunction with existing customer staff.
